Demon #1- The Time Trapper

Buer, the 10th spirit, who teaches "Moral...

This is the biggest demon at work today. Over-scheduled, never enough time to do all you have to do, too many demands on your time from people and other forces.

Why is this a demon?

“For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.”  Matthew 24:37-39

People will be too busy living their lives to notice the changes going on.

The World has made sure that we are endlessly busy. The work day can span 24 hrs. a day, 365 days a year. Many people work 10 or more hours a day. They work weekends and holidays, making family time nearly impossible. Families are further split apart by distance. The bonds that used to keep us strong are being torn apart.

Add to that the notion that our kids must be constantly busy to grow into fulfilled adults.

Add to that the constant bombardment of TV, computers, cell phones, Facebook, Twitter. Our minds are constantly being filled with nonsense. There is no time to think or reflect – only to react.

  • No time to plan meals or eat healthy.
  • No time to exercise.
  • No time to spend in reflection.
  • No time to improve your life.

It all seems hopeless until you realize that YOU are the one in control of your time.

Just putting down your cell phone can give you 2 or more hours a day. Do you need to be readily accessible to all people all of the time? Is that latest cat video going to add any value to your life?

Or could you be learning a skill to get a better job so you don’t have to work 10 hours a day?

Learn to manage your life
