Support the Values You Hold Dear

George Washington, in his farewell address, warned, “Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion… Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”

How right he was. How right he is.

When President Washington spoke of being cautious about the notion that morality could be maintained without religious (meaning Judeo-Christian) values, I doubt that he could envision a day when the mere mention of “values” would brand you as a politically incorrect hater. But it has come to that… and America is in trouble.

Affirm what you believe; support your values. You and I are living in an era of virulently anti-religious — particularly anti-Christian — attacks on morality and values. The opposition is lavishly funded. And very aggressive to force their values on you and me.

You and I know that only moral behavior that flows out of God-given values will sustain American democracy and the freedoms that come with it.

Stand your ground. Vote your biblical values. And stand with us as we fight for your values in the halls of power in Washington, D.C.
